RODNEY TATE

highly respected Nova Scotia wildlife photographer

Rodney is a local local.  Born here . . . lived his life here.  Raised in the woods tramping after his father learning to hunt and fish. Learning the language and habits of animals . . . . Learning incredible patientce. In his teens, Rodney tracked coyotes, bears, and game birds with a gun.  These days, he carries professional cameras – not guns. Most of these pictures were shot here at Beaver Dam Farm, or close by around Pomquet.

“Frankly, I never knew such a variety of 'exotic' colorful birds lived on our land.”  -Carol Rivoire
